Are Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks Real Fruit?

Whole fruit is the First Ingredient in Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks! Real fruit is pureed to perfection and packed into every bite for a mouthwatering taste experience the whole family will love. Where can I get coupons?

Due to the volume of inquiries, we are unable to send coupons upon request. We often run national coupons that can be found through your local retailer’s loyalty program.

Where can I find the best buy date printed on the package?

You can find the best by date printed on Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks outer boxes. Pouches have a best by date or lot code printed on the pouch.

A lot code is a combination of letters and numbers, which tells us when the product was produced. All Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks have a shelf life of one year from the production date. The lot code looks similar to this example: PN24A04122. The first 2 numbers listed indicate the year (24 = 2024). The following letter corresponds to the month (January = A, February = B, March = C etc. Note that the month of September is an X). The next numbers indicate the day of month it was produced. The above example shows that the product was produced on January 4, 2024. In this example the best by date is January 4, 2025.

Are Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks made with pork or other animal products?

The production of Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks involves gelatins that contain either beef or pork. Snack products in our lineup that are free of animal-derived gelatins are Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls.

What is the source of gelatin in Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks?

We use either pork or beef gelatin in the production of Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks, Welch’s^® Juicefuls^® and Welch’s^® Fusions™.

Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls do not contain gelatin.

Do you have any products that are gluten free?

All of our Welch’s^® proucts are gluten free, including Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks, Welch’s^® Juicefuls^®, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks, Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fusions™ and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls.

Are your products made in a nut-free environment?

Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks are made in a number of facilities. Many varieties are made in completely nut free facilities. The remainder are made in isolated areas within facilities that handle allergens.

Welch’s^® Juicefuls^®, Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fusions™ and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls are made in a nut free environment.

Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks are made in a nut free environment but they do contain allergens Milk and Soy.

What do you use to color your products?

Welch’s^® Juicefuls^®, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks, Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fusions™ and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls are made with colors from natural sources.

Please refer to the product packaging at your local grocery store for most accurate information.

Do your products contain artificial flavors?

We produce many of our Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks with both natural and artificial flavors.

Welch’s^® Juicefuls^®, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks, Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fusions™ and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls contain no artificial flavors.

All flavors used in the production of our products are approved by the FDA for use in Food.

Are Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks good for you?

Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks provide an excellent source of Vitamins A, C and E in each 0.8oz serving of Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks. Good-for-you choices balanced with kid-approved treats is a reasonable approach for many families.

Are Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks healthy?

Real, whole fruit is the first ingredient in Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks. Healthy living involves getting the recommended daily allowance of vitamins and minerals. Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks are an excellent source of Vitamins C, A, and E in every 0.8oz serving. They are fat-free and gluten-free.

Is your packaging recyclable?

The boxes for all Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks, Welch’s^® Juicefuls^®, Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks, Welch’s^® Absolute Fruitfuls™ Fruit Strips, Welch’s^® Fusions™ and Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls are recyclable. However, the pouches that hold the snacks are not.
